Job summary

QPS Holdings, LLC in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Mass Spectrometry Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair LC‑MS/MS and related analytical instrumentation in a 100% office/facility-based setting. You will support preventive maintenance, calibration, validations, and instrument installation while collaborating with cross‑functional scientists in a fast-paced bioanalytical environment.

The role requires a BS in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or related field; hands‑on lab

Qualifications

BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, instrumentation, or integrated systems.
Hands-on laboratory, capstone, internship, or co-op experience with analytical or biomedical equipment.
Exposure to chromatography systems (HPLC/UHPLC) preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair LC‑MS/MS systems and associated bioanalytical instrumentation
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance qualification on: LC‑MS/MS systems, UHPLC systems, LC‑UV/FLD and related analytical equipment
Support equipment validation and system performance verification
Install and configure new instrumentation
Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables
Work with cross‑functional scientific teams
Help maintain a clean, safe, and high‑performing laboratory environment
