Job summary

Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc., part of Sonic Healthcare USA, is seeking a Scientist I to perform routine extractions and LC-MS/MS analyses in a fast-paced laboratory. You will help maintain instruments and support daily production with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes independent planning, timely documentation, and adherence to SOPs in a controlled lab environment. Bachelor's degree required with 0–1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• 1 year of laboratory experience preferred.
• 0–1 years of extraction experience.
• 0–1 years of LC-MS/MS experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-critical solutions (mobile phases and buffers).
• Perform automated and routine liquid-liquid extractions, supported liquid extractions or dilute and shoot extractions.
• Plan and conduct laboratory work independently.
• Document procedures promptly and clearly.
• Maintain and set up LC-MS/MS or HPLC instruments.
• Monitor assays on LC-MS/MS and HPLC instruments.
• Assist with filing paperwork and maintaining laboratory inventory.
