Description: LBS1 Teacher, FMLA Coverage (Tentative Start Date 12/01/2026)

Qualifications: Valid Illinois Standard or Special Teaching Certificate,with Valid Endorsementsin LBS1, ELL Endorsement Preferred;

Candidates should possess a working knowledge of Grade K-8programs and instructional techniques,especially as related to special education students,along with a sound foundation in accepted behavioral management practices. Proven ability to work in a collaborative atmosphere as part of an instructional team is desirable. District 16 is seeking creative, productive teachers who will be able to assist in maintaining the excellent educational program currently offered and who will contribute to our ongoing objective of continuing improvement of services.

Working Conditions: PreK-8 Elementary Public School District in DuPage County.
