Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement required.
• Master’s degree preferred; experience in special education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track student progress with accurate data collection and reporting.
• Provide targeted small-group and individual instruction in resource settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment.
• Foster relationships with students, families, and staff; collaborate with general education teachers for co-taught math and ELA.
