Bank of America, a leading financial services firm, seeks an Analyst for the Leveraged Acquisition Finance team to underwrite and model complex transactions, assessing risk and profitability. You will collaborate with risk, ratings, investment banking, and capital markets to execute live deals.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis and financial modeling within leveraged finance, capital markets, investment banking, private credit, private equity, or similar analytical environments.
• Hands-on experience building financial models and explaining key assumptions and outputs to leadership.
• Experience quantifying downside risk on a pro forma basis using financial statements and due diligence findings.
• Exposure to leveraged finance and private credit concepts including cash flow analysis and debt structures.
• Working knowledge of LBO modeling and bottoms-up model building.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, analyze, negotiate, approve and close new transactions while adhering to policies.
• Analyze client financial performance against history, projections, and industry standards.
• Evaluate risk-adjusted profitability to guide capital allocation decisions.
• Build granular multi-scenario LBO and DCF models from historical data and due diligence findings.
• Conduct due diligence with Sponsor and Corporate clients.
• Create ad-hoc PowerPoint analyses to support live deals and investments.
