Job Description

A valid CNA license is required. The CNA will provide services to patients who may be experiencing a variety of physical and Med Surge assistance. Services include skilled nursing care, Medical Surgical assistance, and assistance with activities of daily living, as well as social and recreational activities to help patients attain optimum quality care during their stay.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate with 1 year of previous C.N.A. experience preferred. Experience in handling medical equipment and bio-hazardous waste is required. Ability to competently take vital signs and identify and report changes in patient conditions.

Job Specifics:

  • Participates in routine activities of resident/patient care for the specific unit population of assigned area.
  • Performs delegated resident/patient care tasks in a timely and efficient manner, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse/LVN.
  • Assists in maintaining a safe and secure patient environment at all times.
  • Observes and reports changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse.
  • Completes the CNA section of the daily documentation forms and notes within required timeframes.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for College Medical Center, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that College Medical Center believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Pay: $17.77 - $22.21 per hour
