Layout/Fitter – Structural Steel & Platework (Experienced)

Hours:
Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Layout/Fitter skilled in structural steel and platework. This role involves reading blueprints and erection drawings to fit and layout heavy steel components such as platforms, tanks, and handrails.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret detail blueprints and erection drawings.

• Layout and fit heavy structural steel components accurately.

• Work with various tools (grinders, torches, drills) to prepare assemblies.

• Collaborate with welders and project leads to meet design specs.

• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in structural steel and platework fitting.

• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.

• Experience with platforms, tanks, handrails, and custom fabrication.

• Ability to work independently and handle physically demanding tasks.
