The Associate Layout Designer works with customers, engineering, and order management teams to help configure and visualize customer proposals with a 2D rendering of the order.
Your role is one of few within the organization that focuses on the entire apparatus configuration. Your name will be on the Approval Drawing(s) that our customers sign to indicate acceptance of design and order content.
You will support order management and engineering teams by designing the initial 2D layout of a fire apparatus based on a specification list created by the customer. This position supports the layout drawing from initial bid and drawing creation through manufacturing, including all necessary revisions. In your role, you will learn about Pierce’s products from front to end with the support of engineering and order management teams as you work through unique combinations of our over 300,000 options.

Pay Range: $44,500.00 - $68,300.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
