Granite Construction Incorporated in Chandler, AZ seeks a shop laborer to support daily shop operations, including cleaning, loading/unloading, and assisting fabrication tasks. The role requires basic mechanical skills and reliable communication with the team.

This position helps with all essential functions of our shop. Cleaning, organizing, and assisting all employees with miscellaneous tasks/projects.
Help maintain shop/yard Load and unload equipment and trucks Track inventory on important parts/equipment Operate trucks, forklifts, and various other types of equipment Complete basic daily paperwork Help with fabrication Driving as needed Expedite field supplies to locations in and out of state Ability to travel out of town on short notice Perform yard duties at direction of supervisor Cleaning of shop, trucks and other equipment Clean and maintain equipment Carry out minor maintenance and repairs, including lubrication and cleaning Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
Technical school certification preferred.
Basic mechanic skills. Proficient in basic math. Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment. Good communication skills. Good organizational skills.
