Jack Link's Inc. is seeking an OPS Material Handler – Layer Picker for the 2nd shift in Iowa. This full-time role operates a layer picker and related equipment to build pallets, select orders, and support receiving/shipping duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Preferred: 2+ years operating material handling equipment.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of material handling equipment including layer picker, stand up forklifts, pallet jacks and high reach trucks.
• Operate and maintain RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer).
• Accurate and timely selecting of customers’ orders.
• Work on both Receiving and Shipping docks as needed.
• Unload trucks and verify deliveries against documentation; report discrepancies.
• Ensure products are labeled and identified for proper storing and use.
• Distribute received items to the appropriate person/department.
• Daily shipments: pick, counts verified, pallets wrapped/stacked for pickup; label accordingly.
• Load finished goods onto trailer within the time limit.
• Perform and report cycle counts.
• Follow daily operations schedule and achieve goals.
• GMPs and SOPs adherence; maintain clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other duties as necessary; follow OSHA safety rules.
