Job summary

Safran Cabin is seeking a Lay Up & Press Operator for the WDPM shift. The role runs 4:00pm to 4:00am, Monday/Tuesday through Thursday (alternate weeks), with a base rate of $20.00/hr plus $2.00/hr shift differential. You will lay up and press panels for aircraft interiors and exteriors, and participate in production processes.

Two years of manufacturing experience and fluency in English are preferred. Overtime may be required, and a background screen is required for this position.

Lay Up & Press Operator - WDPM Shift

4:00pm to 4:00am Monday/Tuesday through Thursday (alternates each week)

$20.00/hr plus $2.00/hr shift differential

This job is responsible for laying up and pressing panels to be used for interior and exterior aircraft parts.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Verifying and withdrawing materials.

Cutting/kitting materials.

Laying up materials.

Loading/unloading press.

Press operation.

Saw operation.

Trimming panels on the CNC.

Completing production paperwork.

Forklift operation is required for some tasks (training provided).

Active participation in operational improvement activities.

Cross train or transfer to other departments as needed.

Other task as needed and flexibility is key.

Candidate skills & requirements

Sincere desire to work and be able to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.

2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.

Good basic math skills.

Speak/read/write English proficiently.

Have legible handwriting/printing.

Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities.

Willing to work overtime as needed.

Safran Cabin Materials requires a criminal background check and drug screen to be completed and passed for all positions.
