An established industry player in legal services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician and Well-Being Coordinator. Purpose: The Lawyers’ Assistance Program Clinician and Well-Being Coordinator provides direct services and program support for the bar’s lawyer well-being initiative and the Missouri Lawyers’ Assistance Program, a confidential counseling program that serves lawyers, judges, law students, and their immediate family members. The clinician and coordinator provides counseling and support to lawyers, judges, law students, and their families dealing with a broad range of concerns including substance use, depression, anxiety or other mental health concerns, marital and family matters, work-related stress, and other personal challenges to enhance personal and professional success. The Lawyers’ Assistance Program Clinician and Well-Being Coordinator works to evaluate and assist legal professionals, refer for relevant services, grow and strengthen the program, and support the bar’s lawyer well-being initiative.
General Qualifications: This position requires a wide range of clinical experience, the ability to assist members of the legal profession, a willingness to be accessible to those seeking help, knowledge in the use of the DSM, responsiveness to those seeking help, ability to effectively manage crisis, ability to manage multiple priorities, sound clinical judgment, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. The position also requires assisting the director in recruiting and training volunteers, maintaining an effective referral program, and planning and delivering educational programs.
