Qualifications

  • Qualifying law degree from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or NZ.
  • Experience drafting briefs, motions, memoranda, opinions, or regulatory submissions.
  • Experience reviewing or supervising legal writing.
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, document-review and critical-analysis skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication.
  • Ability to evaluate content for different audiences and purposes.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for Lawyers/Legal Writers to support an AI evaluation project focused on assessing the quality of AI-generated legal and technical content. You will apply your expertise in legal writing, drafting, document review, and critical analysis to evaluate written responses.

No prior AI experience is required.

This is an evaluation-focused role. You will assess written legal content and will not provide legal advice or representation. The role focuses on evaluating whether legal writing is accurate, precise, appropriately qualified, well-structured, and suitable for its intended audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses to legal and technical prompts.

  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate content for different legal, regulatory, client, or public audiences.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with digital document review or annotation platforms.
  • Background in AI model evaluation, data annotation, or RLHF.
  • Strong understanding of legal research and fact-checking.
  • Experience identifying unsupported or overly broad legal claims.
