Job summary

SquashBusters in Lawrence, MA is seeking a Squash Professional to lead squash and fitness practices for middle and high school teams, and to advance the Lawrence Community Squash program.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director of Programming, oversee club operations, recruit volunteers, schedule events, and ensure safety while fostering SQB values and student-athlete growth. Annual salary is $60,000 plus commission, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of squash techniques, rules, and coaching experience.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people including youth and families.
• Passion for education and athletic participation to drive academic excellence.
• Experience working with youth and families in community programs.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, organization, communication, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead squash practices, matches, and fitness programming for middle and high school teams.
• Design and document squash and wellness activities aligned with the SQB curriculum.
• Foster a positive, disciplined environment promoting growth and SQB values.
• Provide individualized feedback to support athletic and personal development.
• Coordinate practices and student support with coaches and volunteers.
• Assist in recruitment and training of support coaches and volunteers.
