Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking individuals to perform fertilization and pest management on trees, shrubs, and lawns, using spray and injection tools at client sites. This on-site, permanent role requires outdoor work, reliability, and adherence to safety training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing pests, educating customers about treatments, maintaining equipment, and driving to job sites. Qualifications emphasize horticulture knowledge and relevant licenses where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
• Preferred: background in Horticulture, or Landscaping
• Preferred: Turf, Weed, Tree and shrub ID knowledge
• Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Preferred: Valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses
