Applewood Nursery in Forest Lake, MN is seeking a Lawn Maintenance team member to mow and care for residential and commercial properties using zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.

You will work at a fast pace to deliver quality work, perform basic equipment maintenance, and provide friendly customer service as needed.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of experience with the specified equipment, a Minnesota driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience with zero turn mowers, trimmers, blowers and walk behind mowers.

• Mow residential and commercial properties, as assigned, utilizing zero turn mowers.

Purpose

Lawn Maintenance team members are responsible for mowing, weed whacking, blowing debris, and spring and fall clean-ups for residential and commercial sites as directed by a site supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Mow residential and commercial properties, as assigned, utilizing zero turn mowers.


• Utilize other equipment to maintain properties like trimmers, blowers and walk behind mowers.


• Provide quality customer service as needed.


• Work at a fast pace, doing quality work and stay until the work is done for the day.


• Must be able to maintenance equipment when required.


• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• 6 months of experience with zero turn mowers, trimmers, blowers and walk behind mowers.


• Minnesota Driver’s License (good driving record and proof of insurability).


• Applicators License – this is preferred, but not required (pesticide, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides).


• High School Diploma or GED.


• Must be 18 years of age to operate lawnmowers, powered lawn, and gardening equipment.
