Job summary

Lush Lawn is seeking motivated lawn care professionals to join our outdoor team in Michigan. You will fertilize lawns, control weeds and pests, aerate, and educate customers on best practices while delivering outstanding service.

As part of our fast-growing company, you’ll manage customer routes, visit every 4-5 weeks, operate the ride-on equipment, and drive a company vehicle. You’ll need a valid driver's license and enjoy working outdoors in a team.

Qualifications

• Lawn care industry experience a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving background.

Responsibilities

• Lawn fertilization, weed/pest control and aeration.
• Evaluate lawns on each visit and diagnose issues or concerns.
• Educate customer on best practices, products used, and results.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Manage and grow a customers routes.
• Service and evaluate your customer’s lawn every 4-5 weeks.
• Drive and maintain assigned company vehicle.
• Safely operate ride-on machine and other equipment.

Position Summary:

• Lawn fertilization, weed/pest control and aeration
• Evaluate lawns on each visit and note any issues or concerns; diagnose disease, inspect problems, or other issues
• Educate customer on best practices, products used, and results by delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Able to work in other area locations
• Manage and grow a customers routes
• Service and evaluate your customer’s lawn every 4-5 weeks
• Work with your customers by evaluating and communicating potential problems
• Drive and maintain assigned company vehicle
• Safely operate and maintain the ride-on machine and other assigned equipment
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record
• Willingness and desire to learn about the lawn care industry
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Be a self-starter who also enjoys working outdoors and in a team environment
• Background check
• Ability to meet physical job requirements including but not limited to: independently lift or carry 50 lbs., walk, stand and bend for moderate periods of time
