Job summary

Anticimex Carolinas is seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Technician to maintain and improve customers' lawn and landscape health by applying treatments on schedule and at proper rates. You will deliver professional, prompt service and work with fertilizers and pesticides following safety procedures and label instructions.

In this role you will perform seasonal aeration and overseeding, operate and maintain equipment, complete required paperwork, and drive a company vehicle to customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Requires 1-3 years of experience in the lawn/landscape industry.
• SC Ground Pesticide Applicator License is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lawn health by applying treatments at proper times and rates to achieve optimal results.
• Provides professional, prompt, and courteous customer service.

• Maintains a professional appearance and works independently or in a team.

Job Description: Principal Responsibilities

• Maintains the overall health and appearance of the customers' lawn & landscape by applying treatments at the proper time and proper rates to deliver the best results.
• Provides professional, prompt, and courteous customer service
• Applies fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
• Performs seasonal aeration & overseeding using designated equipment
• Keeps up to date on the company's product and service offerings
• Drives a company vehicle safely to customer's homes and businesses
• Maintains vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
• Performs daily DOT truck inspections
• Completes required paperwork along with proper communication
• Maintains company phone and any equipment associated with it
• Assists in maintaining cleanliness of facility
• Represents Killingsworth with honesty and integrity
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Performs other related duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate lawn application equipment safely & effectively
• Technical proficiency with computers, smartphones, etc.
• You must hold and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Valid driver's license

Education and Experience:
