Job description

The lawn spray technician is responsible for completing lawn application treatments to provide proper fertilization as well as disease and insect control in turf grass areas. The technician works independently to complete the assigned route and interacts with customers to deliver exceptional service and visible results. This is a year-round position that involves general landscape duties during the off-season.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work independently without close supervision.
• Complete daily documentation of time and materials used.
• Safely apply liquid or dry products in accordance with all local and state regulations.
• Maintain professionalism aligned with the company's core values.
• Keep work vehicle and equipment clean and organized.
• Properly care for and maintain all equipment assigned to the spray rig.
• Perform aeration and seeding services in the Fall.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 year of industry experience or a closely related field.
• Must hold C03-HLT certification as required by the TDA.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a qualifying MVR for company auto insurance.
• Professional, positive, and charismatic demeanor.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and others.

Working Conditions:

• Typically Monday to Friday, 7:15 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with some Saturdays during peak season.
• Work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions.
