Job summary

East Coast Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Lawn & Ornamental Spray Technician in Florida to inspect, diagnose, and treat turfgrass, trees, shrubs, palms, and ornamentals.

You will perform fertilizer, herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, and other plant health care applications in line with product labels and company standards. You’ll calibrate equipment, keep detailed documentation, and operate spray vehicles safely while meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining licenses and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in lawn and ornamental, pest control, landscape maintenance, or plant health care preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow pesticide labels, SDS information, application instructions, and written procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and meet company driving requirements.
• Ability to operate spray equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, identification cards, and training required for the work.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled lawn & ornamental applications to turfgrass, trees, shrubs, palms, and ornamentals.
• Mix, load, transport, and apply products per label and regulations.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate rates and coverage.
• Follow label requirements, PPE, entry restrictions, and environmental precautions.
• Maintain accurate application records and report issues to management.
• Inspect properties regularly to diagnose problems and determine treatments.
