For Garden’s Sake is a family-owned garden center and landscaping company, operating since 1999. We offer a one-stop shop for plants, landscape design/installation, and lawn maintenance services. Position:

We are seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Landscaper for our Enhancement Crew. This team specializes in detailed yard work beyond routine lawn maintenance. Ideal candidates are hardworking, team-oriented, and professional.

Details:

This is a full-time, year-round position paying $19+ per hour with weekly pay. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a matching 401k, discounts, and work-life balance. Advancement opportunities are available.

Work Schedule:

Work hours are from 7:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, averaging 40 hours with paid overtime. Occasional Saturday work may be required; no Sunday work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform shrub trimming based on plant type and season
• Edge and trim beds, prune trees and shrubs, weed, spread mulch and pine straw
• Install small plants and annuals
• Routine lawn maintenance: mowing, watering, leaf blowing, aerating, and seeding
• Operate large machinery such as trucks, trailers, ride-on and walk-behind mowers
• Use handheld equipment including blowers, weed eaters, aerators, and seeders
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality work
• Interact professionally with clients and team members
• Create a positive work environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with no major MVR infractions
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of pruning and trimming shrubs
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality
• Previous lawn maintenance experience focusing on enhancement
• Landscape lighting and irrigation experience is a plus
• Proficient and safe operation of equipment
• Ability to perform outdoor physical work in various weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs
