Job summary

You will care for lawns, gardens, walkways, and parking areas, using appropriate tools and monitoring irrigation systems. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and experience in groundskeeping or maintenance, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, in Mississippi.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Understanding of irrigation, planting, and lawn care techniques.
• Able to comply with safety guidelines and wear protective gear.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds by mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning trees and shrubs.
• Plant and care for flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees to enhance property aesthetics.
• Remove litter, debris, and leaves from outdoor areas, walkways, and parking lots.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Monitor irrigation systems and perform minor repairs or adjustments.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn treatments per guidelines.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and storm cleanup.
• Inspect grounds for safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Support maintenance staff with light outdoor repairs and upkeep.
