Ascent360 seeks a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior spaces of a Brandon, MS site. You will keep lawns, gardens, walkways, and parking areas tidy, safe, and visually appealing year-round.

Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, irrigation monitoring, applying lawn treatments, and assisting with seasonal tasks. This onsite, full-time role requires physical stamina and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of irrigation and lawn care.

• Mow, trim, edge, rake, and prune to maintain neat outdoor spaces.
• Plant and care for flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees.
• Remove litter and debris from outdoor areas, walkways, and parking lots.
• Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Monitor irrigation systems and perform minor repairs or adjustments.
• Apply fertilizers and lawn treatments per safety guidelines.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
• Inspect grounds for hazards and report issues promptly.
• Support maintenance staff with light outdoor repairs.

Job Summary:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of outdoor areas and landscapes. This role ensures that lawns, gardens, walkways, parking areas, and facilities remain well-kept, safe, and visually appealing year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain grounds by mowing, trimming, edging, raking, and pruning trees and shrubs.
• Plant and care for flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees to enhance property aesthetics.
• Remove litter, debris, and leaves from outdoor areas, walkways, and parking lots.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
• Monitor irrigation systems and make minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn treatments under safety guidelines.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf collection, and storm cleanup.
• Inspect grounds for safety hazards or damage and report issues promptly.
• Support maintenance staff with light outdoor repairs and upkeep as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Basic understanding of irrigation, planting, and lawn care techniques.
• Physically able to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, rain, and sunlight.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings during peak seasons.

Pay Range:

[$13-$16 per hour]
