Job summary

Weed Man is hiring a Lawn Care Management in Training in Dothan, AL. You will visit properties on your route to apply fertilizer and weed control, while delivering outstanding customer service.

As you learn the craft, you will train and lead a team, with opportunities for field sales and higher commissions across your route. A valid driver license and physical fitness are required.

Lawn Care Management in Training

Salary Range: $18.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Starting Pay Range: $18 - $24 per hour

Job Type : Full-time Tech

Responsibilities:

We are looking for energetic, customer service oriented, career/growth-minded individuals to join our successful team. As a Lawn Care Manager in Training, you are out in the field visiting residential and/or commercial clients and will be responsible to service properties on your route as you apply fertilizer, treat weeds, and perform other professional applications while ensuring amazing customer service. We want you to learn how to perfect the craft of being a technician so that you can train and lead your own team. You will also be responsible for having conversations with neighbors, knocking on doors, making field sales and earning additional, high commission rates throughout your route. Learning how to gain customers, grow routes, and train others to have success here is a crucial part of managing a team.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver license with a clean record.

Physically fit, able to walk several miles a day and lift 50 lbs bags of granular products.

Interacting with customers and ensuring top-of-the line service.

Have the ability to monitor product usage and quality control.

Be available to work 40+ hours per week in various/extreme weather conditions, including Saturday, as needed.

Work independently as a member of a team. Eventually able to lead a team.

High School Degree required, secondary education preferred but not required.

1 year of experience in Pest Control and/or Lawn Care (preferred), although we will train an individual who displays the willingness and ability to learn.

1 year of management/leadership experience is preferred, although we are willing to help grow someone without previous experience as long as they are motivated.
