Job summary

Lawn Doctor is hiring a Field Service Technician to deliver lawn care, tree/shrub, and pest control services to homeowners in the Hanson, MA area. Youll be in the field daily, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering top-tier results with pride.

Qualifications

• Valid MA driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather.

• Reliable, detail-oriented and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Apply lawn, tree & shrub, and outdoor pest control treatments safely and accurately.
• Diagnose turf diseases, insect damage, and environmental stress to provide solutions.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and build long-term trust.
• Maintain accurate service records on the go using a mobile device.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment safely following safety standards.

Your Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician, you will be out in the field managing your day and serving as a trusted advisor to our clients. Your daily impact includes:

• Apply Treatments: Apply lawn care, tree and shrub, and/or outdoor pest control treatments safely and accurately.
• Diagnose Concerns: Identify turf diseases, insect damage, and environmental stressors to provide the right solutions and recommendations.
• Customer Connection: Communicate clearly with homeowners, offering expert recommendations and building long-term trust.
• Track Records: Maintain accurate service records on the go using a mobile device.
• Safety First: Safely operate company vehicles and equipment while adhering to all safety standards.

Requirements

Your Skills & Experience

• Valid MA driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods of time in various weather conditions
• Confident using a mobile device and applications
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent attention to detail

Bonus Points For

• Active MA Pesticide Applicator License
• Hands-on industry experience in lawn care, tree/shrub, or tick and mosquito treatments

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $20.00-$23.00 per hour for candidates without a MA Pesticide Applicator's License and new to the lawn care industry. $22.00-$30.00 per hour for candidates with a MA Pesticide Applicator's License, based on skills, experience, and certifications.
• Signing Bonus: $1,500 signing bonus for MA Pesticide Licensed candidates!
• Extra Earning Potential: Eligible for daily customer satisfaction incentives, weekly production bonuses, and a lucrative year-end bonus based on individual and company performance.

Work Schedule

• Full-time Monday through Friday.
• Overtime opportunities available during peak seasons.
• Occasional Saturday work required during spring and fall.
