Job summary

Senske in Virginia is seeking a Lawn Care Technician to join our team in Springfield. You will apply turf treatments, diagnose lawn issues, and educate customers.

This full‑time, non‑exempt role offers 18–20 USD per hour, paid time off, company truck and gear, and opportunities to grow from within. You will work outdoors in various conditions and help customers build healthy, vibrant lawns.

Qualifications

• Must have strong work ethic and excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and turf treatments with precision.
• Diagnose lawn issues (weeds, pests, diseases) and recommend solutions.
• Operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Educate customers on proper lawn care and build relationships.
• Keep detailed service records.
• Work outside for 8 to 10 hours a day.

Operate all the cool lawn care equipment — safely and efficiently.

Work outside in the fresh air — 8 to 10 hours a day — because you love what you do.

Wage Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience + pesticide applicator license status. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
