Lawn and Garden Delivery Driver/Clean-Up

Position Details

Reports To: Service Manager and/or Store Manager

Supervises: None

FLSA Code: Nonexempt

Location Note: This position will start at the Taylorville, IL location and will transfer to the Edinburg, IL facility when it opens.

Purpose

To deliver lawn and garden/agricultural equipment and perform various tasks around the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lawn and garden/agricultural equipment
• Wash and clean agricultural and lawn and garden equipment
• Perform lot work including mowing, trimming, and snow removal around the property and buildings
• Keep equipment on the sales lot organized
• Track sales transfers
• Load and unload equipment
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a clean work area and perform tasks neatly and orderly
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Account for all time and materials used in duties

Job Requirements

• Operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used during detailing/washing
• Lifting ability of at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Climb up and down large agricultural equipment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Maintain a good driving record during employment
• Forklift license is preferred
• Knowledge of operating agricultural equipment
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Pay and Schedule

Starting hourly wage: $17+ (based on location and experience). Work hours: Monday - Friday 7 am to 5 pm, Saturday 7 am to 12 pm (rotation).
