Job summary

Athens Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in Legal Studies to teach a broad range of law courses and develop course materials. The instructor will support student learning, align courses with program outcomes, and use Blackboard for online instruction.

The role requires credentialing, availability for on-campus and online teaching, and experience in the substantive areas of law. Georgia-based teaching location may be required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree required or equivalent law-related Master’s with paralegal experience.
• Credentialing to satisfy accrediting bodies for courses assigned.
• Ability to teach on campus and online.

Responsibilities

• Teaches law courses including Introduction to Law and Ethics, Civil Litigation, and more.
• Develops course materials and aligns with program outcomes.
• Completes Blackboard training and adheres to curricular standards.
• Administers and grades assessments and maintains student records.
• Attends programmatic meetings and completes required trainings.
