Job summary

Salt River Project in Tempe, AZ invites a College Intern - Law Student Summer 2027 to support the Legal Services Department’s Water and Natural Resources team. The role focuses on research, analysis, and drafting documents related to SRP's water and power operations, including water rights, land rights, and governance issues.

Candidates should be second-year law students enrolled in ABA-accredited programs, with strong written and oral communication, and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint,

Qualifications

Interest in researching legal and policy issues affecting water providers such as natural resources, environmental issues, power generation, corporate governance, land and water rights.
Enrollment as a 2L in ABA-accredited law school is required.
Willingness to work with others and communicate effectively in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and communicate issues related to SRP’s water and power business.
Support attorneys with drafting agreements and legal documents.
Prepare and present research findings to support SRP’s core operations.
