CHAMINADE UNIVERSITY OF HONOLULU seeks a Lecturer / Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice with a Law Focus to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses.

The position is full-time, non-tenure track, and reports to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Responsibilities include curriculum development, student advising, and ongoing scholarship to advance the program.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology, or related field preferred from regionally accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses and contributing to curriculum development.

Responsabilités

• Teach required workload credits for undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Participate in division and university committees, assessment, curriculum development, and scholarship.
• Advise students and support policies and mission of the University.
• Contribute and produce scholarship and ongoing professional development.
