Job summary

Lewis Brisbois in New York seeks a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support the Business Development Team with pitches, proposals, presentations, rankings and award submissions, and research projects for various practices. Occasional support for conferences, events, and virtual programs is included.

The role requires at least two years of experience in a similar setting, a bachelor’s degree, and strong writing, research, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail.
• Creative research skills, meticulous writing, proofreading and data entry skills, and capacity to interpret data.
• Technological proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office programs, including Copilot; InDesign skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, including formatting, editing, proofreading, and printing materials.
• Conduct research of prospective clients, industries, markets, and competitors.
• Assist with content creation for practice group descriptions, flyers, and other custom marketing materials.
• Provide on the ground support for local New York office business development events and conferences.
