Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of progressively responsible human resources leadership experience, preferably with at least five years in a medium to large sized organization, law firm and/or professional services environment.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Confident manner and the ability to establish credibility quickly.
Ability to work comfortably in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

Participates in development of Firm HR strategies and identifies organizational opportunities.
Supports Practice Group HR Business Partners, HR, and internal stakeholders with non-partner lawyer evaluation and talent processes.
Leads administration of complex lawyer processes, including annual and mid-year evaluations, promotion processes, and Senior Talent initiatives.
Manages evaluation workflows, communications, reporting, databases, and related systems in partnership with HR Operations and IT.
Collaborates with HR, Legal Talent Leadership, Office of the Chair, Firm Leadership, Centers of Excellence, and internal stakeholders on lawyer-related processes and initiatives.
Prepares, analyzes, and interprets lawyer data and reports; provides insights, summarizes findings, and recommends appropriate actions.
Identifies opportunities to improve and streamline HR processes, systems, and operational practices; serves as a change agent for operational excellence.
Manages lawyer data requests and ensures HR systems and records are maintained accurately and timely.
Develops and maintains user documentation, training materials, communication plans, and process resources as needed.
Leads and participates in HR meetings, projects, and firmwide initiatives; ensures timely completion and follow-up of action items.
Supports Firm HR policies, programs, and management principles and promotes their consistent application across the Firm.
Provides strategic problem-solving and supports additional HR projects at the direction of Firm management and HR leadership.
Leads and develops staff by establishing priorities, balancing workloads, providing coaching and feedback, and recognizing performance and accomplishments.
