Job summary

Meldon Law seeks an experienced Chief Operating Officer to translate strategic vision into effective daily operations across four Florida offices, with a strong emphasis on Gainesville. You will oversee non-attorney operations, drive efficiency, and collaborate with the firm’s owners to align operations with strategic goals.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing in a complex service organization, and delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

Proven COO experience, preferably within a personal injury law firm.
Leadership of multi-location operations with department leaders or managers.
Ability to translate an owner's vision into execution.
Comfortable with direct feedback and adapting communication style.
Autonomy to make independent operational decisions.
Excellent communication across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations across non-attorney legal operations, ensuring coordination with attorneys.
Coordinate with HR, finance, IT and marketing to translate strategy into actionable plans.
Maintain visibility and credibility across all locations, especially Gainesville.
Make autonomous decisions to remove bottlenecks and boost productivity.
Partner with ownership on strategic planning and execution.
