Job summary

Thomson Reuters is building a new senior advisory function to serve our most strategic law firm accounts. The Practice Innovation Advisor is a client-facing role at the intersection of AI strategy, technology transformation, and the business of law.

This role engages senior firm leadership to help them think through how AI changes operating models and value delivery across the client lifecycle. This is a peer advisory role focused on executive relationships and strategic counsel at the highest

Qualifications

• 5+ years of innovation experience in a law firm.
• Understanding of partnership structures and governance in law firms.
• Excellent executive communication with senior partners.
• Ability to build trusted, peer-level relationships with firm leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior executive advisor for strategic law firm accounts on AI strategy, transformation roadmap, and operating model design.
• Build trusted relationships with firm leadership to secure Thomson Reuters's seat at the table.
• Collaborate with Account Executive across pre-sale to post-sale to enable the broader team.
• Develop and deliver clear viewpoints on how AI reshapes law firm economics and operating models.
• Coordinate with Product Organization to understand roadmap and articulate to customers.
• Provide executive-level insights to TR leadership on firm investments and AI adoption blockers.
• Represent Thomson Reuters at senior legal industry forums and client events.
