MHMR of Tarrant County is hiring a Law Enforcement Liaison III to support officers in diverting individuals with behavioral health needs to appropriate treatment. The role includes 24-hour officer support, training, and outreach across the community.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree in relevant fields, a minimum of two years in a related field, and valid Texas licensing or certifications. The position emphasizes coordination with social services and behavioral health resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social services, Criminal Justice, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology.
• Minimum of 2-year experience in a related field.
• Valid Texas Driver's License, CJIS certification; Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Licensed Masters Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate.

Responsibilities

• Assist law enforcement officers in diverting persons with mental impairments from the criminal justice system into behavioral health treatment services.
• Provide 24-hour assistance to local law enforcement officers, as well as training and outreach activities.
