U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in El Paso, TX, seeks a Law Enforcement Specialist - Infrastructure Protection Program Management. The role leads physical security programs across VA Medical Centers and coordinates with Police Services and OSP leadership.

The incumbent will enforce security policies, perform audits, and serve as SME on infrastructure protection while ensuring protective services for Veterans and Federal facilities nationwide. Requires readiness for field deployment.

Formación

• Must meet time-in-grade requirements by closing date.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-9.
• Knowledge of physical security programs and interrelated security disciplines.
• Ability to apply State and Federal laws related to security and enforcement.
• Ability to read building blueprints and contracts for security input.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the physical security program across the Health Care System catchment area.
• Lead Community of Practice across Medical Centers.
• Develop and implement initiatives for Police Services and OSP Leadership.
• Coordinate multi‑Center physical security program with leaders.
• Perform audits and oversight of Physical Security functions.
