Job summary

Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office (BCSAO) is accepting applications for law clerk positions across multiple units. Law clerks work with prosecutors to assist in investigations, hearings, and trials, gaining exposure to the criminal justice trial process and docket/case management from hearings to jury trials.

Ideal candidates are current law students or graduates, highly organized with strong computer literacy, and familiar with Lexis Nexis and Microsoft products.

Qualifications

• Must be a current law school student (1L/2L/3L), graduate, or awaiting Maryland Bar admission.
• Demonstrated strong computer and technological literacy.
• Proficiency with Lexis Nexis and Microsoft applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist prosecutors with witness and police interviews, trial and discovery prep, evidence gathering, and legal research.
• Support docket and case management from hearings to jury trials across units from District Court to Homicide.
