The Minnesota Tax Court is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time paid Appeals Court Attorney/Law Clerk.
Under general supervision by a tax court judge, contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Minnesota Tax Court by performing professional legal research and other related clerical and administrative tasks in the preparation of memoranda, opinions and orders for tax court judges concerning the cases before them. This includes drafting legal opinions, attending oral arguments and conferences, reading transcripts and memoranda, researching the law, summarizing facts, and analyzing legal issues; performing courtroom and scheduling duties as assigned; operating technology during remote hearings; maintaining confidentiality; and other duties as assigned.
This position is eligible for up to a 50% hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework agreement, onsite attendance will be required for team meetings or as requested by management to meet business needs, which is typically 80% of the pay period.
