True Talent Solutions Partners seeks a Law and Motion Associate for its California defense litigation team. You will produce written advocacy across civil matters and help shape litigation strategies in a hybrid Los Angeles/CA setting.

The role requires a JD, CA Bar, 2–10 years of civil defense experience with strong writing, and proficiency in Westlaw/LexisNexis. A 1,920-hour annual billable target applies.

• Juris Doctor degree and active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• Two to ten years of civil defense litigation experience with a strong legal writing focus.
• Experience drafting motions, oppositions, or appellate briefs, and knowledge of California civil procedure and substantive law.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and complex issue-spotting skills. A writing sample is required.
• Experience working with a law firm team and familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Ability to meet an annual billable-hour requirement of 1,920 hours.

About the Role

A California defense litigation firm is seeking a Law and Motion Associate to join its law and motion and appeals team. You will provide written advocacy across varied litigation matters and help shape effective litigation strategies.

What We’re Looking For

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $130,000 to $185,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California, with work locations also available in Costa Mesa and San Francisco.
