Job description

We are hiring a FULL-TIME Laundry Hospital Distribution to join our Hennepin County Medical Center team!

SCHEDULE :

6AM-2 : 30PM- Sunday-Thursday

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Comfortable handling soiled linen in a hospital setting.
• Be able to work independently and communicate with nursing personnel.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Count linens and enter on hand inventory using tablets.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Performed the following physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to follow an established schedule.
• Ability to bend into laundry carts and lift soil and clean linens.
• Ability to push and pull full carts of linen (soil and clean) weighing up to 500lbs.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Fast-paced production environment - non-climate-controlled environment. Union environment with diverse workforce with multiple languages. Seven days per week operation - weekends required - nights may be required.
