Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Laundry Worker to keep linens and garments clean and available in a long-term care setting. You will support infection control and interact with residents and staff to ensure excellent service.

This role emphasizes safety, proper use of laundry equipment, and reliable daily duties in a team-based environment with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude; communicate with staff and residents.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow oral and written instructions daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
