Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help keep linens and garments available for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort, wash, dry, and fold items while following safety and infection-control guidelines.

The role emphasizes reliable teamwork, excellent customer service to residents and staff, and adherence to vaccination policies and facility rules.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred.
• Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
