Job summary

Sullivan County Health Care is seeking a Laundry Worker to support daily linen and clothing processing across our nursing home units. The role involves collecting, sorting, washing, drying, and folding items, and delivering carts between locations.

You will also operate the laundry truck and supervise inmate labor for approved functions. No prior experience is required to join our team, and a sign-on bonus is offered.

• Ability to occasionally move items weighing 100 pounds.

• Sort and label items in accordance with departmental policies.

• Prepare and deliver linen carts and clothing to units or for pick-up as needed.

• Provide direction to correctional inmates for approved laundry functions.

Shift Differential:

• $2.00/hour - 2nd shift
• $2.00/hour - 3rd shift
• 20% of base rate of pay Weekend premium – all shifts
