Job summary

Description

Responsible for washing, drying, folding, and distributing clean laundry, including residents’ clothing, linens, and towels. Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary laundry area while ensuring residents have an adequate supply of clean laundry.

Duties

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry.

Separate items requiring special stain treatment.

Count, stack, hang, and deliver clean clothing, linens, and towels.

Clean and maintain laundry areas, floors, walls, and equipment.

Properly dispose of trash and follow cleaning and safety procedures.

Operate and care for laundry equipment and supplies.

Follow facility policies and instructions from supervisors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Specifications
