Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to ensure clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items while operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, staff, and guests.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.

• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
