Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distributing items while upholding infection control standards and providing friendly service to residents and staff.

Eligibility includes a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and residency within the service area. Training and ongoing support are available; benefits are provided to all employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
