Healthcare Services Group, Inc. in Wisconsin, Lake Geneva is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will manage washing, drying, folding, and distribution of laundry while upholding high cleanliness standards.

The role emphasizes safe operation of laundry equipment, infection control, and positive resident/customer service. Training is provided; lifting up to 50 pounds is required; residency in the service area is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
