Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort, wash, dry, and distribute items, and support residents and staff with courteous service.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.

• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

Starting from USD $11.70/Hr.

Qualifications

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
