Job summary

Qualifications

Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the collection, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivery of towels and linen from the Club’s various outlets. This role is full-time with benefits and the hours would be from 11a-7p five days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Collect dirty towels and linen from Club outlets.

• Sort articles before cleaning, separating them by fabric, color, cleaning technique, or dirt content for best results.

• Load articles into dry-cleaning machines or washers at regular intervals to ensure steady availability of towels and linens.

• Sort and count articles as they are removed from dryers.

• Separate towels by Club delivery locations.

• Hang, fold, or wrap the articles according to requirements or personal attention to detail.

• Load laundry carts for delivery and assist with delivering towels promptly to appropriate Club outlet(s).

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Adhere to Club and departmental safety standards and procedures.

• Communicate all safety issues or equipment problems to the Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for periods of up to four (4) hours.

• Must be able to work in environments of high humidity and heat, up to 100° F.

• Must be able to lift heavy linens weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

• Prior experience in commercial laundry is a plus!
