Responsibilities

The Laundry Washer Attendant's typical job functions include:

• Operating washers, dryers, and irons
• Folding and placing items in appropriate storage areas and bags
• Sorting and counting articles to verify quantities on laundry requisitions
• Loading articles into washers and adding specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents
• Programming laundry machines such as washers and dryers

Qualifications

This position may be for you if:

• You are 18 years old
• You are available to work nights, weekends, every 3rd Saturday, and holidays
• You are able to lift up to 50 pounds
• You are able to stand for long periods of time
• You are available to work 2nd shifts
• You are available to work overtime during the busy peak season
